Answers: Why do bad things happen to good people

Why do bad things happen to good people? Have you ever asked that question? I think most of us have at some point. It's a difficult question to wrestle with. With all the bad things we see happening everyday all around us it's sometimes hard to understand why.

This morning we will shed some light on why bad things happen in our world, and see God's purpose for our life's storms.

Our world is seeking answers; answers to questions that they don't have the answers to; but you and I do.

We all enjoy the new life that God has given us but did you know that it is a god-given obligation to share our stories with others? If God has really done a great work in us, shouldn’t we want to share that with others?

What we may not realize is the great transforming power that is found in our God stories. We have the power to offer hope, encouragement and life to those who are yet to find the Author and finisher of our faith.

Do we always feel thankful? Honestly, the answer is probably, "no." Do we sometimes make excuses why we don’t need to be thankful? Maybe things aren’t going your way, maybe you’ve overlooked your many blessings, maybe you need to rethink how blessed you really are.

This morning we are going to look at the excuses we often use for why we aren’t thankful and learn how we can say from our heart, "thanks for giving, everything!"
